Learn how to get more out of your relationship with your mentors!
Join us to gain practical tools to make the most of your mentoring relationships by learning to pro-actively engage with your mentors.
In this interactive workshop, attendees are introduced to the concept of “mentoring up” and the principles of effective mentoring relationships. Please note, participants are expected to unmute often and encouraged to keep their cameras on to participate in this workshop. Registration will be open until this Friday, 3/10 and registered post-baccs will receive an email on Monday 3/13 asking for confirmation of their attendance.
Learn from our facilitator and your post-bacc peers as we discuss case studies in small groups. Together we will learn how to become more effective in navigating the academic and professional landscape and how to influence our mentoring relationships to get the most out of these crucial relationships throughout our professional development.
This workshop is offered by Dr. Margie Oettinger, Professor of Genetics at HMS and faculty advisor to the PBA.
