Join us for the December installment of the PBA Speaker Series, “Exploring Career Trajectories: Science Communication.”
The panel will be held Thursday, December 7th, from 4-5 pm ET via Zoom.
Join the PBA for a conversation about the importance of science communication and different careers within the field. Join a discussion with panelists:
- Vivian Siegel, PhD: Lecturer and Communications Lead for the MIT Department of Biology, and Research Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University
- McKenzie Prillaman: Freelance Science Journalist in Washington D.C., Completed Internships at Nature and Science News
- David Malakoff: International News Editor for Science in Washington, D.C.
As with past programming, these panels are geared toward research assistants, coordinators, and technicians across MGB.
