Interested in mentoring a high-schooler from the greater Boston area while at MGH? The PBA Youth Engagement Mentorship Committee is excited to announce that we have partnered with MGH’s Youth Scholars Program to provide mentorship to 9th and 11th graders in this program, as well as “academic, life, and career skills that expand and enhance their educational and career pathways,” leading to future success.

If interested (and for further information), please email Megi Maci (Founder, Co-Chair) at mmaci1130@gmail.com or Kate Perez at KPEREZ9@mgh.harvard.edu (MGH Youth Scholars Program Coordinator).

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern MA (BBBSEM) Mentorship Program – Middle-Schoolers

The PBA is thrilled to announce and welcome Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern MA (BBBSEM)! BBBSEM provides families with transformational, one-to-one, professionally supported relationships with caring adult mentors (like yourselves!), so children will thrive.

Through Big Futures Mentoring (BFM), you can help unlock youth potential in the Greater Boston area. BFM offers one-to-one mentorship for high school students with a more flexible commitment. Text or chat with your mentee weekly and meet in-person monthly at experiential learning events designed to prepare students to thrive after high school.

There are over 200 youth currently waiting for a mentor! Will you step up to meet the need?

We don’t just want to make you aware of this awesome program, we also want you to get involved. Here’s how you can help:

  1. Apply to be a Big here.
  2. If you’ve already applied, you can book your interview here.
  3. Refer someone awesome to be a Mentor here.

If you have further questions, please email Aka Denjongpa (adenjongpa@emassbigs.org).
